Marketing Internship (Telecommute)
Seeking an aggressive individual to learn and apply different initiatives in the areas of Social Media, SEO, Creative Marketing Campaigns to promote company's name to the right market audience.Internship Description:
As a Marketing Assistant you will get the opportunity to work closely with members of the agency on a variety of dynamic online marketing projects and campaigns. In the age of new media, it's a necessity to know how to leverage social sites such as Twitter and Facebook, online media, and search engines to grow and promote a clients business. Chances are, you already use these sites on a daily basis and have a passion for them, but do you know how to really use them? That's where we come in. After an internship at World Language Communications, you will be well versed in the fun, yet complex language of online marketing.
Specific Objectives:
Provide support on internal marketing initiatives such as event and webinar production and promotion
Develop engaging content for blogs and social media sites
Assist in the management of email marketing campaigns
Assist in the preparation of pitch decks for New Business opportunities
Conduct market research and competitive analyses
Gain a general understanding of Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Internship Requirements:
Senior undergraduate, recent graduate or graduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Concentration in either Marketing, Advertising, New Media, or Communications
Strong knowledge of social networks and how they can be used to benefit a business (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, SlideShare, Flickr)
Strong writing skills are crucial, both formally and creatively speaking
Available for a minimum of 10-15 hours per week
Positive, professional and outgoing personality with the ability to work both in a team or independently
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
Computer skills: Excel and PowerPoint are a must, basic knowledge of HTML, Photoshop and Google AdWords are a plus
Language skills: Another foreign language is a BIG plus
Hours can be flexible to work around a school schedule for the ideal individual.
TELECOMMUTE. Have your own schedule. Bimensual meetings with the Project Manager.
This is an unpaid internship for college credit and experience to transition onboard full-time.
